When can I visit the Migration Department without an appointment?+

On Mondays and Wednesdays — all day: 8:00–11:30 and 12:00–17:00.

However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the schedule is divided: until 11:30 they accept everyone, and from 12:00 to 14:00 — only clients with appointments. This is the detail why people arrive at noon and leave empty-handed.

How much does housing cost in Hradec Králové?+

A 60 m² apartment in July 2026 — around 17,479 Kč per month. This is more expensive than in Plzeň (17,237 Kč), Olomouc (16,891 Kč), or České Budějovice (15,395 Kč), but cheaper than Brno (21,427 Kč) and significantly cheaper than Prague.

Unusual schedule for the Migration Department. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, it operates in two different modes: 8:00–11:30 they accept everyone, and 12:00–14:00 — only those with appointments. Arriving at noon without an appointment means leaving empty-handed.
