The largest medical facility in the region. As of July 2026, the Emergency Medicine Center is under construction here – meaning the location of emergency rooms may change.

Where to go for documents in Liberec?+

Go to the Department of Migration at Voroněžská 144/20: Monday and Wednesday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM–2:00 PM. The customer service center phone number is 974 801 801, email pobyty@mv.gov.cz.

They process residence extensions, address changes, permanent residence, and biometrics. However, applications for temporary protection are accepted by the regional assistance center – check its address on the info line 974 801 802, as centers in Czechia have moved several times.

Book an appointment in advance: those with appointments are served first.

Where to go with an urgent problem?+

To the regional hospital at Husova 1430/34 — it is the largest medical facility in the region.

But keep two things in mind. First, they are building an Emergency Medicine Center there, so the location of the reception areas is temporarily changing. Second, since January 1, 2026, the organization of emergency care in the Czech Republic has been transferred from the regions to insurance companies, and the published schedules across the country are still unstable.

Therefore: call first, then travel. If your life is in danger — 155 or 112.
