Last Friday, traditional masquerade parades called "Majales" took place in Prague and Brno. These parades went through the city centers and support a tradition that started in the Czech Republic in the 15th century.

In the capital city, young people put on a retro performance with cavemen and bandits. On the Old Town Square, tourists helped students build the longest chain made of shoes.

Meanwhile, in Brno, participants, accompanied by allegorical floats and rock bands, walked to the exhibition center. The festival continued there on three stages.
