Over the last five years, experts have identified places where drivers make mistakes most often. The roundabout near Plotiště (Hradec Králové) on the exit from the D11 highway has become the most dangerous in the region. On just one exit here, 52 accidents were recorded. Because of an unlucky combination of the slope and the turn's radius, cars slide into the guardrails even at low speeds. Specialists are preparing a series of measures to reduce accidents in this area, and the completion of the D35 highway should ease the situation.
