For the third day, more than 400 firefighters and 100 units of equipment are fighting a forest fire between Rynartice and Dolní Hřibsko. The fire area is now being kept within 100 hectares.
Helicopters are also involved in fighting the fire. Two aircraft from Slovakia will join the five Czech helicopters, which have already dropped water more than 700 times. Roads in the disaster area are closed, and tourists are strictly forbidden from entering nearby trails, but evacuation from the nearest residential buildings is not yet needed.
