Emissions is the measurement of a car's exhaust gases. It is a separate procedure, but in practice, it is done together with the technical inspection.
How much it costs
- Emissions only — 800–900 CZK.
- Together with STK (technical inspection), it costs 2,000–2,700 CZK (STK 1,200–1,700 + emissions 800–900).
When to get it done
At the same time as the STK for passenger cars up to 3.5 tons: the first time — after 4 years, then every 2 years.
Prices are not regulated
As with STK, the price is set by the inspection station itself — the government does not fix it.
