🆕 White filling — now for adults too
- from 01.01.2026, a white photocomposite filling will be covered by insurance for adults (before, only amalgam was free for adults)
- the basic filling is covered — about 900 Kč
- aesthetic or layered — pay the difference
🆕 Amalgam is phasing out
From 01.07.2026, amalgam is practically banned (mercury) — only for medical reasons.
Your right
The dentist must inform you in advance what is covered by insurance and where you will have to pay extra.
Dental emergency
The regulatory fee is 90 Kč, the same as for a doctor's emergency service.
