Přijímací řízení

preliminary proceedings

What does “Přijímací řízení” mean in Czechia?

Přijímací řízení means the admission procedure: the whole process from submitting the application to the decision on admission.

Fee

  • UK — 880 CZK · VŠE — 1,050 CZK.
  • The deadline for the application to UK is February 28.

🔑 What you don't have to pay for

Under Lex Ukraine, the rector can exempt Ukrainians from both the admission procedure fee and fees related to study. This does not happen automatically — ask at the study department of your faculty.

Requirement for Czech

There is no single standard — the faculty decides. A verified example: 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University (medicine) — C1.

And for secondary school?

There is a different process: § 20, paragraph 4 of the School Act (from 01/01/2026) allows an interview instead of a Czech exam, with 25% more time and a dictionary — but mathematics is no longer taken in Ukrainian.

Important. Exemption from fees under Lex Ukrajina is the rector's right, not an automatic benefit. If you don't ask, you will pay.
