CzechPOINT

state contact point

What does “CzechPOINT” mean in Czechia?

CzechPOINT — a contact point for public administration. Here, you can get extracts from registers, certify signatures, convert documents, and work with the datová schránka (data box) in one place. The network is large: 7,211 contact points plus 75 foreign representations.

Prices — Fixed

  • Extract from the Criminal Register — 100 CZK. This is the legal price, and they cannot give a discount.
  • Land Registry — 100 CZK for the first page and 50 CZK for each following page.
  • Authorized Conversion — 30 CZK per page.
  • eLegalizace (signature certification) — 50 CZK per signature.
  • Data Boxes — all operations are free.
  • Mediated Identification — 200 CZK.

What else can you do there

Through CzechPOINT, you can submit an ohlášení živnosti (notification of trade). This is one of three ways, along with any municipal trade licensing office (obecní živnostenský úřad) and online submission through the JRF.

Important. Prices at CzechPOINT offices are set by the state. If they ask for a different amount than 100 CZK for an extract from the criminal record (výpis z rejstříku trestů), it is not a "regional feature" or a discount, but a reason to ask for clarification.
